INTRODUCTION

The Dothan Education Foundation (DEF) is a nonprofit organization designed to enhance the eduational opportunities for the Dothan City School System.

To help fulfill these objectives, the Dothan Education Foundation (DEF) will provide grants of up to $2,500.00 to selected applicants for use during the 2013-2014 school year.  Grants over $2,500.00 may be submitted for possible consideration but must affect much larger groups than a classroom.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Dothan Education Foundation's primary purpose is to strengthen student achievement and motivation, improve classroom instruction and teacher morale, and build community support with the Dothan City Schools.
