The Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) announced it will issue Pandemic EBT benefits to eligible students in Alabama.
Pandemic EBT benefits will be provided to households that have children in grades K-12 who have temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These benefits are designed to cover meals missed since the onset of statewide school closures on March 18th through the end of the school year on May 29th.
The Pandemic EBT program includes current SNAP recipients, as well as any other children who are eligible for a free or reduced-price meal at school. Families interested in enrolling, would need to fill out Dothan City Schools Free & Reduced meal application and DCS Child Nutrition Program will process your application. You can find this application at www.myschoolapps.com
