• All vacancies for the Dothan City Schools (certified and support) are posted on the Alabama State Department of Education's Teach in Alabama website. These vacancies are also posted at each of our work locations (schools, operations, transportation, etc.). An application must be completed online in order to be considered for any vacancy. All applicants (excluding anyone currently employed by Dothan City Schools) must complete and submit a CURRENT application when interested in applying for a posted vacancy.     • Copy of current resume

    If you are recommended for hire, other documentation may be required including original transcripts, copy of driver’s license, copy of Social Security card, and proof of background clearance.

    Classified positions are jobs that do not require a teaching certificate. Examples include maintenance, child nutrition program, bus drivers, instructional support aides, secretaries, and other support staff.
