Assessments

The Dothan City Schools Assessment Team is responsible for the coordination, development, and implementation of the state testing program. Our goal is to improve academic achievement for all Dothan City School students. This goal is accomplished by providing administrators, educators, parents, and the community the tools and information about student performance in the context of college and career readiness.​

The following assessments are administered each school year:

• ALAKids (Kindergarten)
• NWEA MAP (Grades K-8)
• PreAct (Grade 10)
• ACT WorkKeys (Grade 12)
• ACCESS FOR ELL's
• ACT with Writing (Grade 11)
• ACAP (Grades 2-8, 10 and 11)
