Media Center Hours:
7:45 am - 3:45 pm
Students may visit the media center during the school day with their teacher, or they may come individually with a teacher's pass.
All students who have a pass to work independently in the media center, must sign in on the iPad at the circulation desk and give their pass to the media specialist.
All students must have a Digital Device Agreement, signed by a parent, on file in the media center. Good behavior and productivity are expected. The media specialist will be glad to assist patrons with any assignment needs.
There is a large collection of fiction and nonfiction books available to DHS students. A student may have 3 books out at a time. Late fines are five cents per book, per day.

There is a teacher copier located at the entrance to the media center.
The "Teacher 'View' Points" is a collection of professional books and journals in that same area.
The media specialist offers planning and technology assistance.
There are technology and media resources available for instruction and planning.
The media center also assists in equipment management as well as troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
Teachers can report any needs or requests through email (firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com) or in person.
Any issues that are unable to be solved in-house, will be logged into the DCS technology work order system.
