Dothan City Schools, Houston County Schools, and Henry County Schools are excited to host their 2nd Annual Wiregrass Institute on August 2, 2023 at the Dothan Civic Center. This event will bring all employees from across all three districts together ahead of the beginning of the new school year to provide motivation and professional development to all personnel.

Through this event, a wide variety of educational professionals employed by all three school districts will focus on key motivational points in allowing educators and personnel to empower all students and families in the 2023-2024 school year. The event will open with an address from the Alabama State Superintendent of Education, Dr. Eric Mackey and will feature nationally recognized speaker, Dr. Rick Rigsby.
