Who Can Participate?

Dothan City Schools University is open to all community members. Whether you are a parent or community member curious about how a school district works, you can apply to be a part of our advocacy cohort.

How Does The Program Work?

The program consists of six sessions over the course of the school year and attendance is required of participants. Each month, the advocate cohort will meet a Dothan City Schools Department to learn more about what it takes to operate a school district.

How Can I Participate?

At the beginning of each school year, Dothan City Schools will send out applications for the annual cohort. 40 applicants will be selected to participate. The program is free to all participants.
