DOTHAN, Ala. – A student from Carver School for Mathematics, Science and Technology is the winner of this year’s Dothan City Schools Holiday Card Art Contest. Lilian Hurley from Dr. Peppi Cooper’s 6th grade class, was chosen as the winning entry.
This year’s contest was held among 4th through 6th grade students from across the district. Entries were judged by members of the DCS Central Office staff.
More than 200 cards were printed by the Dothan Technology Center Graphic Design students and were sent to community leaders, state education partners, and others.
Congratulations to Lilian Hurley for bringing holiday joy through her artwork this holiday season! Lilian will be honored at the December Board of Education meeting. She won $50 and a bag of goodies!
