At the October Dothan City Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe recognized school board members who have achieved levels in the Alabama Association of School Board's (AASB) School Board Member Academy during the 2021-2022 Academy Year.

District 6 Board Member, Aurie Jenkins, completed Level 1, and District 3 Board Member, Melanie Hill completed Level 2.

In addition to level completion, Dr. Franklin Jones of District 2 and Board Vice Chair Brenda Guilford of District 1 earned Master Honor Roll Achievements for their service and will be recognized during AASB's 2022 annual Convention.

We applaud their commitment to school board service, demonstrated by their participation.
