Dothan City Schools Board of Education Member Named All-State School Board Member
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Alabama Association of School Boards (AASB) recognized Dothan Board of Education Member and Vice Chair Brenda Guilford of District 1 as a recipient of the association’s highest honor, the All-State School Board Member Award, during a special awards luncheon held December 2, 2022 at AASB’s Annual Convention & Delegate Assembly in Birmingham.
“We are honored that Dothan City Schools has representation on the All-State School Board. Mrs. Guilford has worked and trained diligently for many years to reach this level of recognition,” says Superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe. “We are thankful for her service to the people of Dothan.”
AASB began its annual All-State School Board Member recognition program in 1992 to recognize up to five of Alabama’s most outstanding past or present school board members who exhibit exemplary ‘boardmanship.’
