Dothan Area Chamber And Southeast AlabamaWorks Present Business Workforce Development Champion Awards
Dothan, Ala. – Officials from the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce and Southeast AlabamaWorks partnered together to present two area businesses with a Business Workforce 
Development Champion award. Recognized for their strong business commitment to developing, inspiring and building a culture of success for employees, awards were presented to:
- Dothan Tech; and
- Southeast Health.
“Today, we stopped to celebrate the accomplishments of organizations and businesses that are actively engaged in the development and education of our citizens. Workforce development is a critical part of a growing and prosperous community, and we applaud these institutions for being champions in this effort. Let’s enjoy this moment and salute local leaders and individuals that are providing opportunities for our citizens while also making their businesses better and our community stronger,” said DACC Chair Michelle Lewis.
“Congratulations to Dothan Tech and Southeast Health! Their dedication to participating in workforce development programs to create and build future employees is a testament to their commitment to better lives, communities and futures,” stated Lori Wilcoxon, DACC chief operating officer.
Southeast AlabamaWorks Executive Director Katie Thomas added, “In these challenging workforce times, it is great to honor and recognize two local businesses that have rolled up their sleeves and made a difference for so many.
