Dothan High School AP Students Receive Qualifying Scores & Incentives
118 Dothan High School students will be recognized for their A+ College Ready Advanced Placement Courses.
DOTHAN, Ala. – A+ College Ready, a program of A+ Education Partnership, recently notified Dothan City Schools and Dothan High School that 118 Dothan High School students will be recognized and rewarded for their achievements in A+ College Ready supported Advanced Placement (AP) courses and their passing scores, earning them college credit.
Dothan High School offers 18 AP college-level courses to all 10th through 12th Grade students. Courses include Language Arts, Literature, US History, Statistics, Calculus, Government/Econ, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Sciences, and Physics. Dothan High School currently has 412 students taking AP courses with 20 students named as AP Scholars, six (6) AP Scholars with Honor, five (5) AP Scholars with Distinction, and one (1) AP Capstone Diploma.
Students who passed the AP exam with scores of 3, 4, or 5 students will receive a $100 gift card from A+ College Ready. Totaling $11,800 in rewarding achievements for Dothan High School AP students.
