Superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe Presents at School Superintendents of Alabama Fall Conference
Recently, Superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe presented with partner Trane at the School Superintendents of Alabama's Fall Conference.
Their presentation highlighted DCS and Trane's partnership and commitment to infuse STEM curriculum into our schools, leading to a new Career Tech Credential in HVAC that will be IC3 approved.
This is a national standard that is highly sought. Alabama has yet to offer this credential, but Dothan City Schools and Trane will be pioneers in bringing this to our state. Trane will work closely with Dr. Dennis Coe and the Director of Career Tech and Workforce Development, Mr. Chris Duke to get an endorsement by the ALSDE.
Dothan City Schools are moving forward and shaping the path for innovative learning opportunities for all students.
