Recently, the Alabama Department of Education released its Alabama State Report Card that provided many reflections and indicators of the 2021-2022 school year, including academic achievement within schools and school districts across the state.
Within Dothan City Schools, two elementary schools received a 100 in Academic Growth, Selma Street Elementary School and The Carver School for Mathematics, Science, and Technology.
To celebrate, students and teachers came together to mark this achievement with a special photo.
