2022-2023 DCS Elementary Teacher of Year

 

One of the many reasons our committee selected Mrs. Adkinson for Teacher of the Year is her dedication to providing exceptional reading instruction to her fifth-grade students. Mrs. Adkinson encourages her students to dive deeply into text to engage with the characters and the plot events. We also greatly appreciate Mrs. Adkinson’s artistic ability—she spent many hours this summer creating amazing circus-themed decorations for our new campus!

We are so proud to have Mrs. Adkinson as part of our Carver family! We can’t wait to see what you and your students achieve in the future!
