May is National Children's Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! During the week of May 2nd - May 6th, we will recognize children's mental health and our district's dedication to raising mental health awareness through the continual growth of school-based mental health services. Join us on Friday, May 6th, by wearing the color green and start the conversation with your friends and family about the importance of talking about mental health and reaching out for support if needed. For more information on services offered at school or within our community, please contact your school, or the district's Mental Health Services Coordinator, Holli Griggs, 334-793-1397 ext 236265.

Below you will find resources from The National Federation of Families and The Youth Mental Health Project that you and your family can utilize this month!
